The people have to grow up and learn to deal with challenges on their own. But Moses sees and shares the vision. Moses foresees the many difficulties the Jewish people will face, but he also knows that the people will turn raging storms into beacons of light. The miraculous exodus is recounted, as are the Ten Commandments. The immortal Shema is recounted, as are the binding connective tissue of Tefilin and Mezuzah.
