The Danger of Boredom

Boredom seems innocuous — who hasn’t been bored at one time or another? But, boredom is dangerous to the human spirit. Just as bacteria flourish in open wounds, boredom creates a dangerous breeding ground for spiritual toxins. When there is boredom, which creates a void, there is room for negative influences to enter our lives. The opposite of boredom is passion. When you replace boredom with passion for positive things, there is no room for negativity to enter your life. Passion protects your spirit.
