Many (if not most) of us get a twinge of resistance when we’re asked to donate money. Is there anything special about money (vs. time or advice) that makes it so difficult to part with? How can we shift our perspectives on money so that we can be more generous and less selfish? The seminal (and accessible) mystical text called “Tanya” by the renowned Jewish scholar, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, offers a profound yet practical insight on the nature of money. Join best-selling author and counselor-to-thousands Rabbi Simon Jacobson for a short discussion on the spiritual perspective on the power of money and charity. Money is called “soul-energy” and you can learn to harness that energy in your life.
