Why we do what we do
Are they truly the truth
Do we do what is true
Are we connected
Are we part of the source
Or do we do what we do
Because of some other force
Can we peel off the layers
That cover our soul
I want to think
As deep as I can
Toward that meaningful goal
The bare essentials
A spirit that soars
I want to win all my battles
End all my wars
My mind and my heart
Wrestle in strife
I need strength and strong will
To move
