Apparently, there’s more than one way to count.

Rabbi Simon Jacobson‘s popular book “A Spiritual Guide to Counting the Omer” has been reintroduced as a mobile app named “MyOmer.”

A project of his Meaningful Life Center, it enables people around the globe to peek into their inner emotional world, coupled with exercises to enhance one’s personality and relationships.

The feedback for the apps has been excellent as it spreads in countries around the world.

“It is truly amazing to see how the sefirot and emotional faculties explained in Kabbalah and Chassidus are having an impact on people of all backgrounds. Who would ever have imagined that a small mobile app is delivering the spiritual message of Chassidus to international audiences, in all their diversity,” explains Rabbi Jacobson.

The MyOmer app, first launched as a prototype, entered the market amid other Omer counters, but stood out as the only app to provide a deeper insight into each day.

“The app takes the 3300-year-old blueprint of the human genome and makes it accessible to everyone,” emphasizes Jacobson, a noted author and lecturer.

Available in Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android devices, the app has a free and full-featured paid version.

The paid version offers additional functionality such as access to a personal journal, ability to set daily timers, and language settings. As user feedback pours in, the Meaningful Center’s staff is continuously updating the app with additional features.

“I love playing with technology to fuse ancient methods with modern systems. This convergence is where the magic happens,” says Gani Goodman, Operations Director of the Meaningful Life Center, who spearheaded this project.

The app is the first of a whole new series of programs that the center will be releasing this year, including an animated video that introduces the seven base emotions outlined in MyOmer.

MyOmer, the original 49-step personality development program, is the first app to take subscribers on the profound journey deep into their hearts and souls. Find out more at MyOmer.org
