Are Your Your Worst Enemy?

PRINT

How could someone become their own worst enemy? It’s because we get trapped in our own egos and self interests. How do you get out of that trap? You must get beyond yourself to reach new horizons. The downside of self interest is getting trapped in your comfort zone and your own box. Complacency and apathy create the comfort zone where we remain in a mediocre state. What shakes us up? Something that removes your comfort zone. We see in life that those cracks begin to allow the light to get in. Excellence is always propelled by some resistance. Resistance does not have to be painful, though. it can be simply a motivational element, such as healthy competition. Challenge is how we can wake up.
