Tzemach Tzedek
The “Righteous Scion” taught: Think good and it will be good.
R’ Menachem Mendel, the third Chabad Rebbe, known as the Tzemach Tzedek, was born 29 Elul 5549. His mother passed away shortly thereafter and the young boy was raised in his grandfather, the alter Rebbe’s house. The Tzemach Tzedek authored and compiled many books, ranging from Halachic compendia, to works of the Alter Rebbe, to books on mysticism and philosophy. The Tzemach Tzedek passed form this earth on 13 Nissan 5626.
