He will call Me and I shall answer him; I am with him in distress; I shall rescue him and I shall honor him — Psalms 91:15
Holy Temples were destroyed; structures collapsing; a pandemic ceaselessly taking lives and global chaos running rampant. There is such darkness in this world, such unbearable pain, such untold suffering.
Where is G-d in all of this? When the darkness enshrouds and the pain trembles, where is the Creator of these temples, these souls, these tears? Are we alone? Is there a bigger plan hiding behind the pain, between the chaos and suffering? Is there an end game to all the darkness and destruction?
Join Rabbi Jacobson on Tisha B’av, the saddest day in the Jewish calendar, for a heartfelt discussion on pain and suffering, and how God can (and will!) turn it into light and happiness. It is all part of the grand plan, the bigger picture. Every event, every tear, every destruction leads us closer to the final redemption, where only goodness and kindness will be revealed.
