Moses’ father-in-law, Jethro, is a spiritual guru and high priest of Midian. When he hears of the miraculous formation of the Jewish nation, he comes to join. Jethro, is a master administrator; he helps Moses formulate a structure of governance and leadership. The people camp at Mount Sinai, preparing and purifying themselves for the most profound experience in the history (and future) of the world.
